Zelimir Obradovic commented on the developments on the Fenerbahce bench with the removal of Dimitris Itoudis and the signing of Sarunas Jasikevicius.
Zelimir Obradovic spoke about removing Dimitris Itoudis from the Fenerbahce bench and taking over the technical leadership of the Turkish club after Partizan’s victory over Zalgiris. The Serbian coach also has close relationships with both coaches.
“Yesterday I spoke to Dimitris (Itoudis) because of the relationship I have with him. We are colleagues and I am sorry that you find yourself in this situation. Now or tomorrow I will call Saras (Jasikevicius) and ask how everything is. We are all friends with each other. But such is the life of a coach. Someone gets out, someone takes the risk. That is. This is my former team, Fenerbahce. Once again I feel sorry for Dimitris. I hope he uses this time to relax and enjoy life more because, frankly, our lives don’t exist. Play, travel, practice.
