James’ triple-double did not save the Lakers from defeat in the NBA home game with New York

The Los Angeles Lakers lost to the New York Knicks in a National Basketball Association (NBA) home game.

The meeting took place in Los Angeles and ended with a score of 114:109 (35:27, 22:31, 33:22, 24:29) in favor of the guests. The most productive player of the meeting was Lakers forward Anthony Davis, who scored 32 points. LeBron James had a triple-double of 25 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. For the Knicks, Jalen Brunson scored 29 points, Julius Randle had 27 points and 14 rebounds.

“New York” won its 15th victory, the club is in fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Lakers (15-12) are in eighth place in the West.
