The Titans could not defeat the lions. Prometheus lost in a dramatic Eurocup match

On Wednesday, December 20, BC London Lions (England) and BC Prometheus (Ukraine) met in the twelfth round match of the Eurocup regular season.

In the first half of the match, the teams played a very fast and active game. The Titans started the game more actively and even broke away from their opponents with several positions, but the Lions caught up with the Ukrainian club and took the lead thanks to several successful attacks in a row. It was the British who entered the big break as leaders by winning both quarters.

The Ukrainian team spent the third 10 minutes much more actively. In this way, the teams entered the last break with the Londoners’ minimal advantage of 65:64. In the last quarter, Prometheus continued to put pressure on the opponent – first they took the lead, then they broke away by a few points, and three-pointers by Balvin, Lipovoy and March gave hope of victory. However, at the end of the match, the home team came back with a 9:1 move and won with a three-pointer by Dekker in the last seconds of the match.

Next Wednesday, December 27, Prometheus will host Slovenian Cedevita Olimpia in their home Eurocup match.
