Olympiacos was eliminated from the Women’s EuroCup with another negative result against Riga
Exclusion for Olympiakos from the Women’s EuroCup, disqualifying the red and white team from continuing the competition from Riga. The team from Piraeus lost to the Latvian team for the second time (70-65) and said goodbye to Europe for the season.
After losing at home to Riga in the SEF by 19 points, Olympiacos were hoping for a big breakthrough in Latvia to qualify for the “16” of the Women’s EuroCup. It didn’t come, the red and whites lost 70:65 and were eliminated from the competition.
The first scorer for Olympiacos was Eleanna Christinaki with 17 points, followed by Vitola with 15 points and 5 rebounds.
