Olympiakos’ depth chart in the Stoiximan Basket League after the integration of Petrusev: The foreign 7th and the rotation
See how the Olympiakos squad now faces its commitments in the Stoiximan Basket League following the announcement of Filip Petrusev and Naz Mitrou-Long. The 7th of the foreigners and those not on the list, but also the depth chart.
Olympiacos has nominated Filip Petrusev for the Stoiximan Basket League. The Serbian striker/center takes Luke Sikma’s place in the “red and white” squad for their national duties and is expected to play against Apollon Patras (December 24th, 3:00 p.m.). in the final of the first round of the championship.
The national player is Olympiakos’ second new addition to its Greek squad after Naz Mitrou-Long, who received a Greek passport and was also nominated by the Piraeus team yesterday (December 21).
With this move, Olympiacos made the second foreign change this year in the Greek League, after replacing the (then injured) Shaquille McKissick with Ignas Brazdeikis a few days into the season. The “Red-Whites” still have the right to make up to 3 more changes in the second round.
After the decision to declare Petrusev, The 7th foreigner of the “Red-Whites” in the Stoiximan Basket League (in each game they have the right to 6 of them) is as follows: Isaiah Kanan, Nigel-Williams-Goss, Ignas Brazdeikis, Alec Peters, Filip Petrusev, Mustafa Fal, Nikola Milutinov. In general, Shaquille McKissick and Luke Sikma remain outside the Greek roster for now.
Olympiakos’ depth chart, now playing in the Stoiximan Basket League (along with young Abosi, Rozakea and Spartali), is as follows:
PG: Thomas Walkup, Nigel Williams-Goss, Naz Mitrou-Long, Michalis Luntzis
SG: Isaiah Kanan, Giannoulis Larentzakis, George Papas
SF: Kostas Papanikolaou, Ignas Brazdeikis, Benjamin Abosi
PF: Alec Peters, Philip Petrusev, Giorgos Tanoulis, Anastasios Rozakeas
C: Nikola Miloutinov, Mustafa Fal, Stefanos Spartalis
