The leader of the Venezuelan national team died of an epileptic seizure at the age of 24
Venezuelan national basketball player Garley Soho passed away suddenly at the age of 24.
According to the NBA Buzz Instagram page, the cause of death was an epileptic seizure Gurley suffered while home alone.
“We are deeply saddened by the death of Garley Soho, a member of our national team and an outstanding individual who had a promising start to his basketball career. We express our condolences to his family, friends, relatives and the entire sports community for this irreparable loss,” the Venezuelan Basketball Federation said in a statement.
Remember that during his career Soho managed to play in South America and in the G-League for the Mexico City Capitanes. At this year’s FIBA Basketball World Championship, Gurley was his team’s leading scorer, averaging 12.4 points and 4.2 rebounds in three tournament games.
