The 15th matchday of the Elite League ended with interesting games and Panionios remained at the top. Sportish presents you with a review of the 15th round of the second-placed Greek Basketball League.

Matchday 15 of the Elite League featured eight interesting games, with Panionios still leading with a win from the second game.

The Nea Smyrni team scored 10/10 with Aris Lykogiannis on the bench and had a difficult time at Esperos Lamia HQ as Nikos Gikas continued to soar and achieved the triple-double.

Ayantas Evosmou scored a great win over Mykonos with his “weapon” offensive feature, while Milonas swept Megarida.

Panionios had big problems against Esperos Lamias, which they defeated 85:82 in overtime. The Blue-Reds had Nikos Gikas in excellent shape for another game, the Greek guard achieved a triple-double with 22 points (3/5 three-pointers), 10 rebounds and 8 assists and collected 31 points in the scoring system. The title of MVP of the tournament rightly belongs to him.

Milonas was impressive against Megarida, which he defeated 82-51, dominating from the first quarter and really picking up the pace in the second quarter. Nea Smyrni’s team prevailed with a difference of 31 points and significantly limited the opponent’s offensive function. Milonas had a passive value of 51 points and thus the situation was simplified if he won.

Panionios, Ayantas Evosmou, Milonas, Papagos, Heraklis, Eleftheroupolis, Ermis Schimatariou and Korivos Amaliadas continued their competitive duties in the division victoriously, with Aris Lykogianni’s team remaining at the top of the standings.
