Enisey head coach Jovica Arsic believes that it will be difficult for Serbian Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic to become the National Basketball Association (NBA) champion again.
The 28-year-old Serbian has been playing for Denver since 2015. Last season he became the NBA champion and was recognized as the most valuable player of the finals.
“It’s hard to deny that he dominated the NBA last year.” I think he will still become MVP, but becoming a champion again will be very difficult.
— Will he go to the Olympics?
“I think he doesn’t know himself yet.” It all depends on what kind of season he has.
— What are your expectations from the Serbian national team at the upcoming Olympic Games?
“Any of the medals would be a great achievement for Serbia,” the Championship quotes Arsic.
This season, Jokic played 37 games in the NBA regular season, averaging 25.5 points per game, making 11.8 rebounds and giving 9.2 assists.
