The Slovenian coach of Lokomotiv-Kuban called Russia a country with nice people
Lokomotiv-Kuban head coach Alexander Sekulic spoke about his impressions of Russia.
The Slovenian specialist has been heading the Krasnodar club since July 2022. Last season, Lokomotiv-Kuban reached the finals of the VTB United League for the first time in its history.
— Russia is incredibly big. Every trip is a complete journey. I myself come from a small country – Slovenia. And when we say: “It’s nearby,” they usually mean a distance of 10–15 kilometers. And in Russia “close” means 200–300 kilometers!
So distances are my first association with your country. There is another cliché that is completely justified – about Russian frosts. Only here in Krasnodar the weather is more or less normal, but in other cities we visit it is very cold in winter. My family and I feel comfortable in Russia. Nice people live here and are always happy to help,” Sekulic told the Championship.
