Lakers forward LeBron James is once again involved in a conflict with Houston player Dillon Brooks, Sportsnet reports.

In the fourth quarter of the NBA regular season match, the Houston forward hit the Lakers leader in the face while fighting for the ball. The Rockets won the match with a score of 135:119. The referees, after reviewing the replay, gave Brooks an unsportsmanlike foul, allowing him to avoid ejection.

During the postgame chat, James ignored a question about Brooks: “Next question.”

But his teammate Anthony Davis expressed dissatisfaction with the work of the referee.

“You know he and LeBron have a history, but what I saw was a blatant slap in the face. However, the referee saw it differently,” Davis said.

The conflict between James and Brooks began during last season, when the basketball player who played for Memphis tried to provoke the 4-time NBA MVP in various ways. During that series, Brooks called James “old” in an interview and was later ejected for the remainder of the match in Game 3 of the series for hitting James below the belt.
