Javier Pascual’s basketball team won the VTB United League All-Star Game, which took place in Moscow at the VTB Arena.
Pascual’s players beat Emil Rajkovic’s team with a score of 134:120 (31:28, 35:31, 24:32, 44:29). Among the winners, the most productive was Amat M’Bai from CSKA, who scored 24 points. Devon Akun-Purcell scored the most points for Rajkovic’s team (44). He was recognized as the most valuable player of the match. The winning team received 3 million rubles.
The best in the three-point competition, which was held as part of the All-Star Game, was Krasnoyarsk “Yenisey” forward Bo Beach. The best in the dunk competition was Jordan Skipper-Brown from Astana. The MVP title holder and the competition winners received 500 thousand rubles each.
Pascual has been heading Zenit St. Petersburg since 2020, and Raikovich began coaching CSKA Moscow in 2022.
