Thundercut Alexei Pokusevsky
The Oklahoma City Thunder have released Alexei Pokusevski. The Serbian, who became the team’s starter, was selected with the 17th pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.
Pokusevski started 25 of 34 games in 2022-23, but injury issues were already showing. He averaged 8.1 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists, but summer forearm and ankle injuries limited his training time, keeping the 22-year-old Serbian out of the lineup this season. He averaged 6.0 minutes, 1.2 points, and 1 rebound per game.
Pokusevski is averaging 7.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game in 150 career games (65 starts).
