The search team discovered the body of missing basketball player Anton Petukhov, the Oksana Vasilishina Search for Missing Children organization told Match TV.
The disappearance of the athlete on the way to Tatyshev Island on the Yenisei River became known on December 30.
— Specialists from KSKU Spasatel found a body this morning near the village of Chastostrovskoye in the Emelyanovsky district. The police assume that this is the body of Anton Petukhov; to confirm, it is necessary to carry out an identification procedure by relatives, the press service told Match TV.
In 2021, Petukhov won the VTB United Youth League as part of CSKA Moscow.
