A tense moment was experienced in Orlando as Brandon Ingram starred in a scene we never want to see. The New Orleans Pelicans star had to leave the game with an injury after an unfortunate move.

Jalen Suggs’ knee remained stuck in the ground while fielding, and video showed the possible severity of the injury.

Immediately after the game, Pelicans coach Willie Green said Ingram would undergo an MRI to determine the extent of the injury. “It’s very difficult to see him go down injured,” Green said. “We will pray tonight and hope for good news.”

Ingram scored 14 points in the first 21 minutes, but was helped to the bench by his teammates. So far this season, Ingram is averaging 21.0 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 5.8 assists while shooting 48.9 percent from the field. Without Ingram, the Pelicans lost to the Magic 121-106.
