Caitlin Clark shines in first professional match

One of the most successful players in the women’s basketball world has finally made her professional debut. caitlin clarkeDubbed the greatest star to come through the WNBA, she made her preseason debut with the Indiana Fever this Friday, scoring 21 points in the team’s loss to the Dallas Wings. (79-76).

She surpassed Pete Maravich as the leading scorer in college basketball history for both women’s and men’s draft picks, and played 28 minutes against the Fever, hitting 6-of-15 from the field (5-of-13 on triples). She had three rebounds, two assists and two steals, but lost five balls.


Clark came to the WNBA after a stellar career at the University of Iowa, leading his team to back-to-back NCAA finals appearances but failing to win either title, but he has no plans to stop celebrating triples, points and records. It seems so.
