Two-time Olympic champion and four-time NBA champion LeBron James answered a question about his future career after the Los Angeles Lakers were eliminated from the NBA playoffs.
The Lakers lost to the Denver Nuggets in Game 5 of the first round of the NBA playoffs with a score of 106:108 to finish the season (1-4).
– I don’t have an answer, to be honest. I didn’t think much about it. “I’m not going to answer this question,” ESPN quotes 39-year-old James as saying.
He said he would eventually meet with his agent Rich Paul and family and evaluate “what’s best for his career.”
James has until June 29 to either agree to the final year of his $51.4 million contract with the Lakers or become an unrestricted free agent.
It was previously reported that he is interested in playing on the same team with his own son Bronny, who plans to nominate himself for the 2024 draft.
