Basketball player Ukhov wished the CSKA players not to lose concentration in the RPL match with Zenit

CSKA basketball player Ivan Ukhov told Match TV that the key to victory over Zenit in the third match of the ½ finals of the VTB United League playoffs was a competent defensive game, and also wished good luck to the “red and blue” players in the RPL match with a team from St. Petersburg.

On Friday, CSKA beat Zenit at home with a score of 76:61. The score in the series up to four wins is 2-1 in favor of the “red-blues”.

— Due to competent defense, we did not allow Zenit’s leaders, the snipers, who punished us in the second match for our attitude to defense, to feel confident. We analyzed that game, saw our weaknesses and tried to minimize them.

– Certainly. We have always been confident in ourselves. So we continue to move towards the championship goal,” Ukhov told Match TV.

CSKA will play with Zenit on Saturday in the match of the 28th round of the Russian Football Championship.

— What would you wish to your teammates? What is their advantage over their opponent?

— I won’t say so directly, because it’s not often possible to follow football. But I saw them in the last matches. They played well against Zenit in the last match of the Russian Cup. We could have won, but somewhere we lost concentration. Therefore, I would like to wish them good luck, and also not to lose concentration,” added Ukhov.
