Panathinaikos won the Euroleague basketball league for the seventh time

Greek Panathinaikos defeated Spanish Real Madrid in the Euroleague basketball final.

The Greek team beat their opponent on Sunday with a score of 95:80 (25:36, 24:18, 15:7, 31:19). The most productive player of the meeting was Kostas Sloukas from Panathinaikos, who scored 24 points. Sloukas was named Final Four MVP.

Panathinaikos won the Euroleague for the seventh time in its history. Real Madrid holds the tournament record for victories: the team has won gold medals 11 times.

In the match for third place, the Greek Olympiacos defeated the Turkish Fenerbahce (87:84).
