CSKA Moscow beat UNICS Kazan in the fifth match of the final playoff series of the VTB United League and became the winner of the tournament for the 11th time in history.
The meeting took place in Kazan and ended with a score of 66:55 (16:19, 18:19, 20:8, 12:9) in favor of the guests. The most productive among the winners was Anton Astapkovich, who had 12 points. Jalen Reynolds scored 18 points for UNICS.
CSKA won the best-of-four series with a score of 4–1. The army team holds the record for the number of championship titles in the VTB United League.
UNICS won the VTB League in 2023, when its opponent in the final was Lokomotiv-Kuban from Krasnodar.
