Valencia signs former Fenerbahce player Neit Sestina
Valencia Basket announced this Tuesday the signing of American power forward Nate Sestina.He joined after winning the league with Fenerbahçe and reaching the Final Four of the EuroLeague, and signed a two-season contract with the “Talonja” team.
The player is 2’05m tall, 27 years old, He therefore becomes the Valencia team’s first signing of the season.after firing Damien Inglis, they hired a power forward who is a bigger outside threat than the Frenchman and can be complemented by the Aragonese Jaime Pradilla.

Before arriving at Fenerbahçe, Sestina spent his final year of college at American University of Kentucky, and after a brief stint in the G-League, he developed his career in Europe, with his first experience in Israel and his final three years in Turkey, where he was a key player for Turkish Telekom Ankara in the 2022-23 season, finishing as runner-up in the EuroCup, averaging 10.4 points and 4.6 rebounds, before returning to play again, this time for Valencia.
His post-college career began with the Long Island Nets of the G League.He played 15 games for Israel’s Hapoel Holon, where he led them to the Balkan League title with 16.8 points and 5 rebounds per game, before joining Turkey’s Merkezephendi Belediyesi for the 2021-22 season and Turk Telekom for the 2022-23 season before signing with Fenerbahçe last summer.
Sestina won the Turkish League and Turkish Cup with Fenerbahçe and played 18 games in the Turkish League and 35 games in the EuroLeague, playing a key role in that tournament including hitting a triple 45 in the first leg of the quarter-final against Monaco.
