Former NBA player Chase Budinger will represent Team USA in beach volleyball at the Paris Olympics, NBC reports.

Budinger, 36, and Miles Evans, 34, qualified for the national team by beating the duo Theo Brunner/Trevor Crabbe in the international rankings. The Olympic quota in beach volleyball is no more than two teams per country in the men’s and women’s competition.

Budinger started his career in volleyball, played basketball for the University of Arizona, and then played in the NBA for Houston, Minnesota, Indiana and Phoenix. He retired as a basketball player in 2017 after a season spent in the Spanish Baskonia.

The Paris Olympics will take place from July 26 to August 11.
