The St. Petersburg team beat Moscow and defended the title of winner of the Roscongress Basketball Cup at SPIEF
The St. Petersburg team defeated the Moscow team at the Roscongress Basketball Cup as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
The meeting ended in victory for the St. Petersburg team with a score of 74:73. The most productive player of the match was Sergei Karasev, scoring 25 points. Juwan Morgan scored 16 points for the Moscow team.
Olympic bronze medalist Sergei Monya, biathlon world champion Ekaterina Yurlova-Perkht, and Chairman of the Board of FC Zenit Alexander Medvedev also played for the team from St. Petersburg. The Moscow team included European champion Sergei Bykov and President of the VTB United League Sergei Kushchenko.
The sports platform of the Roscongress Foundation – RK-Sport, the Zenit basketball club and the Trade Union Sports Club co-organized the match.
