Recently, a rare divorce from star Russian football players has passed without scandalous details. So basketball player Katerina Keyru several years ago experienced a painful breakup with defender Ivan Novoseltsev. But the athlete did not stop believing in men and years later she met someone who wants to spend the rest of her life with her.

“I don’t like to do everything standard”

Katerina’s basketball career was on the rise in 2015. She played one season in the titled Dynamo Moscow, but unexpectedly decided to end her career at 26 years old. The European youth champion had a more than respectful reason – Keira married Russian national team football player Ivan Novoseltsev.

The defender at that time played for Rostov. He proposed to his beloved right on the football field after the end of the match. Katerina agreed, and soon the athletes got married.

“I’m the kind of person, I like to do original things, I don’t like to do everything standard,” Novoseltsev said after the proposal.

“Transformations occur through illness”

In 2019, Katerina announced her pregnancy. But a significant event for every family coincided with the breakup of the relationship. Ivan simply packed his things and disappeared from the shared apartment. At the same time, it became known that the separation of star athletes was accompanied by scandals.

Ivan began to prepare for divorce in advance. Secretly from his wife, he sold his mother the common property acquired during the marriage. And also withdrew all the money from the accounts. The matter reached court proceedings, during which Novoseltsev refused to even recognize the child. Then a wide public outcry arose throughout Russia. Keyru went on television and addressed the president.

Despite the betrayal, Keyru wanted to maintain a normal relationship with her ex-husband for the sake of their son Theodore, so that he would be raised by both parents. However, parting with Ivan dealt a strong blow to the basketball player’s emotional state. I even had to see a psychologist.

— Today I had a session with a psychologist. We discussed my illness with my son after arriving and meeting with his father. Transformations often occur through illness and pain. I need to burn everything, take out of me everything that hurts me and prevents me from being myself! Stops me from being the best version of myself. Use my resources that God has given me,” Keiro wrote on social networks in 2022.

“You are my universe”

Lately Katerina has done a lot of work on herself. Now she is not only a caring mother involved in the development of her child, but also the founder of the “A Woman Has the Right to Say” foundation. Keyru was also involved in modeling and political activities.

Recently, Keyru began to often post joint photographs on social networks with actor Alexei Gavrilov, known for his role as Gosha in the TV series “Univer” and “SashaTanya”. Gavrilov organized Katerina’s birthday, fortunately he is not only an actor, but also a businessman with extensive experience.

However, it was difficult for the average person to imagine them together, because the young people did not advertise their relationship, and Gavrilov relatively recently dissolved his second marriage, in which he had a child. According to Alexey, he and his ex-wife parted as good friends.

— Our life with Masha was spiritual, but I was more at work, yes, we soon got married, and in the summer of 2022 our second son, Rami, was born, a very smart, incredibly aware and incredibly beautiful child. But after his birth, we began to move away from each other and then decided to divorce; it was better to remain loving parents for our son, and give each other the opportunity to build new relationships,” Gavrilov wrote on social networks.

On June 8, the newlyweds published pictures and videos of the wedding they had the day before. In their posts, Katerina and Alexey made beautiful declarations of love and swore devotion to each other.

– My love, I thought for a long time about what to write, but I realized that something about how we kept our world inside our family, our walls, our life with you, remains very valuable to me. You are my destiny, my strongest support! You are the best man for me! You and I know the depth of our relationship, feelings, our souls. I’m happy to become your wife. With love, through all our lives, to you alone,” the ex-basketball player wrote.

– I love you very much, you are an amazingly beautiful woman, a wise soul, the most talented person I know, gentle, kind, affectionate, sincere, graceful, fiery, you are the best mother, you are my Universe, my unknown space. Long life to our family, to us and our children, now June 7 will forever be our happy day,” Gavrilov wrote.

In such situations, you just want the new relationship to work out much better, and for all the hardships to be left far behind.
