CSKA basketball players perfectly executed the coaching plan in the series with UNICS, says Pistiolis

CSKA head coach Andreas Pistiolis explained how the Moscow club managed to win the VTB United League.
Following the 2023/24 season, CSKA became the champion of the United League, beating UNICS in the final series with a score of 4–1.
“The players carried out our plan perfectly. Our basketball players showed more willpower. We had a wider rotation, we had many players who contributed in the final. As a result, we remained fresher in the end. But in the fight for the championship, details often matter.
Sometimes the fate of titles is decided not by 99% of your game, but by the remaining 1%. We paid close attention to the details, and that is what allowed us to win. The most important thing is that the players had a great mentality, they fought and were hungry for the title. That was the most important thing, – Pistiolis is quoted as saying by “Championship”.
