CSKA head coach Andreas Pistiolis said that there will be no major changes in the army club’s roster during the off-season.
CSKA became the VTB League champion at the end of the 2023/24 season, beating UNICS in the final series with a score of 4–1.
— I have a team that won the title. I don’t expect any major changes. We just have to repeat our success. In my opinion, there will be some changes.
But you will see a team next season that is fighting hard for the title. That is the most important thing. Everything else will be resolved in the future. Some decisions will be made where we will go one way or another.
First of all, we need to finish the work on re-signing players, so that we can be sure that our guys will stay here. After that, we will decide how we will strengthen the team. We will definitely look for a backline player, as well as someone who will add diversity to our team.
We’ll see who we can find. Often you base your decision not only on what you want, but on how the market will develop. We’ll see, – “Championship” quotes Pistiolis as saying.
