UNICS extended contract with head coach Perasovic until end of 2024/25 season
Kazan UNICS announced on its website the extension of the agreement with head coach Velimir Perasovic.
The 59-year-old Croatian specialist’s new contract runs until the end of the 2024/25 season. Perasovic has been heading the Kazan team since the summer of 2021.
Last season, UNICS won silver in the VTB United League, losing to Moscow CSKA in the final with a score of 1–4. Following the season, Perasovic was recognized as the best coach of the league.
In the 2022/23 season, UNICS, under the leadership of Perasovic, became the champion of the VTB United League for the first time in history.
