LeBron James’ Son Signs With Lakers

Guard Bronny James has signed with the Los Angeles Lakers, the National Basketball Association club’s press service reported.
The son of four-time NBA champion LeBron James was selected by the Los Angeles club with the 55th pick in the 2024 draft.
According to The Athletic, the 19-year-old basketball player has signed a three-year deal with an option to extend it for another season. The player’s salary will be $7.9 million per year.
Earlier, ESPN reported that LeBron James also agreed to a new contract with the Lakers.
The California club and the 39-year-old forward agreed to a two-year maximum contract worth $104 million.
The deal includes a player option for the 2025 offseason and a clause allowing the four-time NBA MVP to block a trade involving him.
