“Avramovich is the very player we have been looking for for two seasons” – CSKA Vice President Furaeva

Serbian basketball player Aleksa Avramovic is exactly the defender that CSKA has been looking for for a long time, Natalia Furaeva, vice-president of the Moscow club, told Match TV.
The Army Men announced on Thursday that they had signed a contract with the 29-year-old Serbian defender. The agreement is for two seasons. Since 2021, Avramovic has played for Partizan Belgrade.
At the moment, the basketball player is preparing to take part in the Olympic Games in Paris as part of the Serbian national team.
— Is Avramovich exactly the attacking guard that CSKA has been looking for for a long time?
— This is the one! The one we’ve been looking for for two seasons… Alex is in the prime of his basketball powers, he understands perfectly well that he has come to a club that only requires the highest results, and it is very symbolic that the deal was completed on the birthday of our club president Andrey Vatutin. We hope that all the gifts are yet to come, — Furaeva told Match TV.
