The US Basketball Team Wins the Olympic Games for the 17th Time in History
The US men’s national team beat the French team in the final of the basketball tournament at the 2024 Olympics.
The meeting in Paris ended with a score of 98:87 (20:15, 29:26, 23:25, 26:21). The most productive player in the American team was Stephen Curry, who scored 24 points. Victor Wembanyama scored 26 points for the French team.
The US team won the Olympic Games for the 17th time. Golden State Warriors basketball player Stephen Curry won the Olympic gold for the first time in his career, and LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers became a three-time Olympic champion.
The Serbian team previously won bronze.
The Paris Olympics will end on August 11.
