Colombian Basketball Federation Denies National Team’s Participation in Friendship Cup in Perm
The Colombian Basketball Federation (FCB) announced that it did not send a national team to participate in the Friendship Cup, which is being held in Perm.

— The Colombian Basketball Federation has not received an official invitation to participate in the Friendship Cup in Russia. The FCB has not given approval to any club or university in the country to participate in the Friendship Cup. The Federation will take legal action in connection with the improper use of its image or logo without prior permission, — the statement said.
The Russian and Venezuelan national teams are also taking part in the tournament. The teams will first play each other in a round robin format. The final and the match for third place will take place on Sunday, August 25.
