La Penya on tour across Asia
Following in the footsteps of Barça and Basketball Girona, who will soon begin their pre-season in Asia, Club Joventut de Badalona announced on Wednesday that they will also be joining the trend in September.
The Green and Black team will be on a mini tour of China from September 16 to 22, playing two friendlies against Asian national teams in Quzhou on the 18th and Xizhou on the 20th, the capital of Shaanxi province. Coach Dani Mille’s team will travel to the Asian country once they have completed their pre-season duties in the Catalan league.
In China, the Badalona club will carry out various promotional events, as well as expand its borders and seek to acquire new economic resources.
Following his return, Peña will make his official debut on the first day of the European season in the EuroCup on 24 September, at home to Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv, before making his Endesa League debut on the 28th of the same week, against UCAM Murcia.
