Lokomotiv-Kuban basketball player Dmitry Uzinsky told Match TV about the reasons for the defeat to CSKA in the United League Super Cup match and what has changed in the red-greens’ game since the arrival of club president Andrei Vedischev as head coach.
On Wednesday, Lokomotiv lost to CSKA with a score of 95:105 in the VTB United League Super Cup match.
— Why did we lose? We lacked a little bit of defense, communication. We conceded more than 100 points. This is unacceptable. But this is only the beginning of the season. Now everyone is getting used to each other, because there are many new guys, new interaction.
— What has changed since Vedischev took over as head coach? What was noted in his training process?
— More moments on defense, attack. More demands one-on-one, or two-on-two pick-and-roll play. More pressure, more aggressive play, — Uzinsky told Match TV.
