Booker and Mitchell, NBA players of the week
Devin Booker (Phoenix Suns) donovan mitchell (Cleveland Cavaliers) were named Player of the Week in their respective conferences by the NBA.
For Booker, the West MVP, this is the 10th time in his career that he has received such recognition. Last week, the Phoenix Suns won three games against the Lakers, Clippers and Trail Blazers, thanks to an impressive performance from the shooting guard who averaged 33.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 6.3 assists.
Meanwhile, in the Eastern Conference, Donovan Mitchell has played a key role in the Cavaliers’ big weeks and is one of the reasons the team remains undefeated this season. Cleveland won all four games against the Knicks, Lakers, Magic, and finally Milwaukee, with Mitchell hitting the winning shot in the final second. During this streak, Mitchell averaged 25.3 points and 4.3 assists while shooting 50.6 percent from the field.
