Zenit basketball players inflicted Lokomotiv-Kuban’s second defeat in the VTB United League season
St. Petersburg Zenit beat Krasnodar Lokomotiv-Kuban in a match of the regular championship of the VTB United League.
The meeting in Krasnodar ended with a score of 77:71 (18:15, 20:22, 20:21, 19:13) in favor of the guests, whose most productive players were Trent Fraser and Xavier Moon, who scored 15 points each. Lokomotiv-Kuban has 16 points each from Patrick Miller and Kirill Elatontsev, a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds from Isaiah Whaley.
Javier Pascual’s team won the ninth victory of the season and, with two defeats, is second in the table, Loko, led by Andrei Vedishchev (9 wins, 2 losses), is in third place.
In the next match, Zenit will host Krasnoyarsk Yenisei on November 7, while Lokomotiv-Kuban will play at home with Perm Parma the day before.
