Pari Nizhny Novgorod head coach Sergei Kozin explained why he did not join Zoran Lukic’s staff in the Russian national basketball team in the summer.

— Summer training at the games in Perm overlapped with pre-season work. I had a new coaching staff, a new team, and without a head coach, naturally, it would have been difficult. Therefore, we spoke with Zoran, as a head coach, he understands perfectly how this should happen. So he said: “Sergey, don’t even think about it. During this summer period, you must be with the team, preparing the team as much as possible for the season.”
