Basketball player Demin: “Now is not the time to enjoy yourself, since the main matches are still ahead”
Russian point guard for BYU Cougars (Brigham Young University) Egor Demin said that he tries to concentrate on team success rather than personal achievements.
Earlier, 18-year-old Demin was recognized as the rookie of the week in the Big 12 Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) for the second time in a row.
“I’m very pleased to hear that people like to watch me play, but I try to focus as deeply as possible on the process of my own and the team’s development.
We have big goals this season, and now is not the time to enjoy ourselves, since the main matches are still ahead – as well as a lot of work on all aspects of the team’s game,” Demin quotes “Championship”.
Demin is a graduate of the Moscow Basketball Academy and Real Madrid.
