Double-double Bako helped UNICS beat Avtodor in the VTB United League match
Kazan UNICS defeated Saratov Avtodor in the regular championship match of the VTB United League.
The meeting in Saratov ended with a score of 86:68 (23:15, 19:17, 19:17, 25:19) in favor of the guests. For UNICS, Ismael Bako scored a double-double of 10 points and 12 rebounds, and Artem Komolov scored 14 points. Avtodor’s captain Dusan Beslach scored 18 points.
UNICS won 13 of 18 matches this season and is fourth in the championship table, Avtodor (7 wins, 11 losses) is in eighth place.
In the next match on December 15, the Kazan team will host Paris Nizhny Novgorod; Avtodor will play at home with Samara the day before.
