Zenit defeated Astana in the VTB United League match, CSKA beat Yenisei
St. Petersburg Zenit defeated Kazakhstan’s Astana in a home match of the VTB United League regular championship.
The meeting ended with a score of 96:59 (26:15, 17:12, 31:22, 22:20) in favor of the St. Petersburg team. The most productive player in the winning team was Denis Zakharov, who scored 17 points, while Astana had Danila Pokhodyaev and Galin Smith (12 each).
Zenit won 16 times in 18 matches and ranks second in the standings, Astana (0–19) is in 12th place.
