VTB United League expressed condolences over the death of basketball players Timma
The VTB United League expressed condolences over the death of former basketball player of a number of Russian clubs, Janis Timma.
The body of a 32-year-old basketball player was discovered on the night of December 17 in the entrance of a five-story building in the center of Moscow. According to preliminary data, he committed suicide.
Earlier, Zenit, Khimki and UNICS and CSKA also expressed condolences.

In the 2016/17 season, Timma took part in the United League All-Star Game.
Iannis’s last professional club was the Spanish Obradoiro, for which the player played in the second half of the 2023/24 season.
