In October -December 2024, a series of robberies of star athletes took place in the US cities, ESPN reports.
According to the source, six athletes were injured. In September, the victim of the robbers was the Basketball player of Minnesota Mike Conley. In October, the houses of American football players Patrick Mahums and Travis Calcy were robbed – both play for Kansas -City Chifs. In November, the next victim was the basketball player of Miluoi Bobby Portis. Finally, in December, the houses of American football player Joseph Burrow from Cincinnati Bengalls and the stars of NBA DONCHICH, playing for Dallas, were opened.
The robbers waited for the moment when the owners were not at home, and in most cases acted when the athlete left with the team for a visiting match.
NFL and NBA sent warnings to the players, urging them to take additional precautions to protect their houses.
