Timma’s sister: “Sedokova offered help with the payment of the funeral of Janis, but did not enter the money”

The family of Janis Timma did not receive the promised money from the former wife of the basketball player, singer Anna Sedokova, says athlete’s sister Lelde Zhandvek.

Timma on the night of December 17 was discovered dead in the entrance of a five -story building in the center of Moscow. According to preliminary data, he committed suicide. Farewell to the basketball player took place on December 27 in Riga.

Earlier, Mash, citing the concert director of the artist, reported that Sedokova would pay the transportation of the athlete’s body to Latvia and his funeral.

Now I am ready to share some facts without personal interpretations. Anna on the phone expressed the intention to pay for the funeral – this is true. On December 25, 2024, she personally wrote to me, asking about my bank account. I sent to Anna the contacts of the person responsible for the financial part of the funeral. As far as I know, until January 8, 2025, money from Anna Sedokova did not arrive.

Thus, both allegations are correct: she offered help (as indicated in my previous post), but the money did not arrive until today, as people who communicate with the family reported.

In addition, this year Anna already contacted the bank in the USA and stated that she was a legal administrator of my brother’s accounts. I will be happy to share more complete information later, when the main issues will be settled, ”wrote Grandowska on her page on social networks.

Timma on December 9 officially divorced Sedokova. They were married for four years, they did not have common children.

The last professional club of Timma was the Spanish “Okaduro”, for which the player spoke in the second half of the season – 2023/24. In Russia, Timma played for Zenit, Khimki and UNICS.
