ACB confirms Valencia: Valencia, the Cup headquarters in 2026 and 2027
The ACB has already revealed what the open secret is. Copa del Rey’s next headquarters will become Valencia in 23 years and will feature the premiere of Roiguarena, the new multipurpose pavilion.
The cup will be held in Valencia in consecutive editions in 2026 and 2027. ACB President Carlos Mazon, president of the Valencian Community, and Valencia Mayor Maria Jose Catata attended Palau de la General Tatatatatatatia.
The three entities who worked to realize this agreement revealed details and expressed their satisfaction with the resolution returning to the city of Tulia and back to the Spanish basketball epicenter.
“As the ACB, we have an obligation to thank Valencia and Valencia baskets. With the five years of pandemic finished, they had the courage to carry out an exceptional final stage. It was a very beast and we got it thanks to the people of Valencia,” explained Martin.
Martin wanted to highlight the conditions of a great city to accommodate such tournaments. “This community is perfect for Copa del Rey. There are plenty of people.” He also didn’t want to forget the patrons who pushed the evolution of sports and Valencia basketball. This time I am extremely proud to thank generalitat. ”
The ACB president, unable to even confirm 100%, advanced the existence of a possible new form and, as usual, the Endesa Minicopa and 3×3 Cage.
The previous phase of the Minicopa Endesa will be held in the Valencia community, as expected, at the bridge in Alicante this December.
Maria Jose Catatal unconcealed her satisfaction with the arrival of the event in the city, claiming she had the necessary capabilities. We certainly have the best installations in Europe to accommodate this type of sport.”
“This is where we get horses. The environment is a privilege. The city has always responded,” the mayor concluded.
On his side, Carlos Mazon celebrated the news with a message from Union. When we remind ourselves to shine, we know how to do it. Valencia and the Valencia community play the big leagues. No one thinks we have abandoned our ambitions. Words like leadership tell us today there is no other better place to celebrate this.
