The second fattest player in NBA history
He played almost 500 NBA games and played the finals. And this is all despite the physical complexion that didn’t invite you to think about the success of the sport. As the NBA Players Association (NBPA) announced, at one point in her career, she weighed 160 kg, and died Wednesday at the age of 54.
Known as “Big O,” Miller was selected in the first round of the Phoenix Suns in the 1992 NBA Draft and started racing in the world’s best league leading the Detroit Pistons, Toronto Raptors, Dallas Mavericks, Sacramento Kings and Minnesota Timber Walves. He played 493 NBA games in total, averaging 7.4 points and 5.9 rebounds. In his first season in the league, he came to play the NBA Finals. His Phoenix Suns fell 4-2 with Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls’ hands.
Some sources point out that they are the heaviest player in NBA history, but are generally admitted to being second on this list and only by Thomas Hamilton. The nickname “Big Ham” (word game between Hamilton and Ham, Ham) played with the Boston Celtics in the 1995-96 season (20 games) and played four years later for the Houston Rockets in the 1999-2000 season (24 games). At some point in his NBA career, he weighed 170 kg.
