The results of the draw of Eurobaste -2025 became known
The results of the draw of the European Championship of 2025 in basketball became known, the Fiba press service reports.
Eurobasket -2025 starts from the group stage, which will be held from August 27 to September 5 in Latvia, Finland, Poland and Cyprus, then the final stage will be held in Riga from September 6 to 14.
At the group stage, 24 national teams will be distributed into four groups.
Group a: Serbia, Latvia, Czech Republic, Türkiye, Estonia, Portugal (matches in Riga),
Group B: Germany, Lithuania, Montenegro, Finland, Great Britain, Sweden (matches in Tamper),
Group C: Spain, Greece, Italy, Georgia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus (matches in Limasol),
Group D: France, Slovenia, Poland, Israel, Belgium, Iceland (matches in the Catowice).
Earlier, the Executive Committee of the International Basketball Federation (Fiba) decided to extend the removal of Russian clubs and teams from participation in tournaments until May 2025.
