Demin – about the nomination of the NBA draft: “I am proud that I can represent my country at this level”
The Russian basketball player Yegor Demin said that he feels pride in connection with the fact that he has to participate in the NBA draft, but does not feel additional responsibility.
Earlier on Tuesday, Demin confirmed the decision to put his candidacy for the upcoming Draw of the NBA.
– Yegor, you are the first Russian basketball player in a very long time to nominate his candidacy for the draft. What do you feel? Do you feel the load (responsibility) for the whole country?
– There is no cargo as such, pressure too. I rather feel pride that I can represent my country at such a level and be responsible for Russian basketball with my decision to some extent. For me, the main goal is to be a motivation for someone, I would be very happy about this.
