The Lithuanian coach received the prize of Alexander Gomelsky as a coach of the year in the Euroleague
The head coach of the Turkish “Fenerbahce” Sharunas Yasikyaviyus won the trophy, named after Alexander Gomelsky, becoming the best specialist in the season – 2024/25, the Euroleague press service reports.
According to the results of the Fenerbahce regular European League Championship, he won 23 victories in 34 matches and took second place in the standings.
Yasikyavicyus became the first person who won the Euroleague as a player, and was later recognized as the best coach of the season.
