Director Gerald finds updates on Lleida Hypos until 2027
Hiopos Lleida coach Gerard renewed his contract with the Catalan team, which expired until June 2027, as announced by the Entity, announced Thursday.
He was 35 years old and discovered he was a key part of the club’s recent success, expanding his link with Lleida another year after the team achieved permanence last Sunday in his first experience as a coach in the Endesa League.
Lleida and the link between them date back to the summer of 2021, beginning the path of success that led the Burgundy Club to the Spanish basketball elite.
Throughout his four years at the head of the Entity, where he leads 147 official matches, Lerida coaches won two Catalan Rev Gold Leagues in 2022 and 2023, achieving promotion to ACB in the 2023-2024 season, recently confirming salvation in the top category of Spanish basketball.
With this renovation, Lleida hiotos installs angular sections of his project, ensuring the continuity of the young Catalan coach for another two years.
