Zenit set a record for victories in a row in the Unified VTB League
Petersburgsky Zenit updated the VTB Unified League for the number of victories in a row, taking into account the play -off matches, the press service of the basketball club reports.
On Wednesday, the “blue -white -blue” beat the Krasnodar Lokomotiv -Kuban in the second match of the semifinal series of the playoffs of the United League (85:80). This victory became the 25th in a row for the St. Petersburg club in the tournament.
The previous record belonged to the Moscow CSKA, which won 24 victories at the start of the regular season -2022/23 season.
The third match of the series to four victories will be held on May 11 in Krasnodar, the score is 2-0 in favor of Zenit.
