“What a pointless act.” LeBron James reacted to the news about the car of the car on Liverpool fans
Three -time Olympic champion and four -time NBA champion LeBron James spoke about the incident with a car that crashed into a crowd of Liverpool fans during a festive parade in honor of the team’s victory in the English premier liga.
About 50 people were injured as a result of an incident in a parade on Monday, 27 of them were taken to the hospital. Among the victims are four children, one child received serious injuries. Mercisade police reported on Monday evening that the “53 -year -old British” was arrested in connection with the incident.
– My God! I just can’t believe what happened. My most sincere thoughts and prayers – with everyone whom this tragedy affected at the parade in honor of the victory in the Premier League.
What a pointless act! – wrote James on his page on the social network X.
In 2011, James acquired a minority stake in a football club, and in 2021 increased its share, becoming a partner of Fenway Sports Group (FSG), which owns Liverpool.
Liverpool prematurely won the championship of England on April 27, defeating the London Tottenham (5: 1). The Premier League season ended on May 25.
