The judge mistakenly recorded the out of the Zenit basketball player at the end of the match with CSKA – the statement of the Unified League
The press service of the Unified League of VTB said that the referee erroneously recorded the out of the Zenit player Vince Hunter in the end of the first match of the final series of playoffs against the Moscow CSKA.
The starting match of the final series of the VTB Unified League between Zenit and CSKA ended with the victory of the army with a score of 82:80. Arbitrators Alexei Davydov, Stanislav Valeev and Artem Lavrukhin worked on the game.
– The Unified VTB League after a thorough analysis of the end of the first match of the Zenit final series – CSKA, held on May 27, 2025, reports that the judge made a mistake, fixing the out of Zenit player Vince Hunter 3.3 seconds before the end of the match. In accordance with the Rules of the Championship, the League will consider the issue of applying sanctions to a judge who made a mistake, the statement said.
The series is up to four victories. The second match of the final will be held on May 29 in St. Petersburg.
